Discussion:
Sync location to google calendar

When creating events on google calendar based on scheduled events in
org-agenda, is there any way to assign a location to the event? (perhaps
with an org-property or a special keyword)

I'm looking for anything that assigns a value to the "Location" field of
the event in google agenda.

If there's currently no way, I'd be happy to implement something like that.
Would the developer accept a pull request with such a feature?

Hi Artur,

this is already implemented. Try adding the property :LOCATION: with a
given location to your entries.

Thanks, Henning.

Is there similar support for other fields, like busy/available or
public/private?

Better yet, is this stuff documented somewhere so I can stop nagging you
about it? :)

Unfortunately not yet. You are welcome to patch it and make a pull request,
or simply open an issue. The only other thing that is supported is
filtering of org-habits.

Well, technically it is documented in the source code ;) It would be nice
to document it somewhere. How about adding it to the feature list?

Ok, I'll look into implementing the availability from an org property,
seems like it shouldn't be too hard.

I couldn't find any way of setting the privacy state from a flag,
unfortunately.
