Can't reconfigure WebDAV sync on my phone

I was playing around with Ubuntu One sync this morning and decided to
go back to WebDAV sync. I entered the webdav address, username and
password in MobileOrg on my tablet and reconfigured successfully. Then
I entered exactly the same credentials on my phone and it tells me
"invalid username or password."

I can go to the URL in the phone's browser and it will show me the
contents of index.org, no problem. So it's not an issue with the phone
being unable to access the server. It's only, for some reason I can't
fathom, MobileOrg 0.9.8 on my phone chokes on something, while the
same version on my tablet is fine.

Rebooting the phone made no difference.

How do I fix this? Without a fix, none of my options is exactly
pleasant. It's especially annoying since WebDAV sync *was* working on
my phone before I played around with it.

This is a really odd problem and I can't seem to reproduce it... can you
try to clear the settings for the application and set it up again?

It didn't help, alas.

After a little more poking around, it seems to be a WebDAV configuration
problem on the computer. My tablet (where it's working) is the outlier. No
time to fix it now, so Ubuntu One it is, for the time being, and hope the
trans-Pacific connection is more stable than I remember.

Will also check for dev snapshots, to try the new timeout. Pressed for time
these days, can't set up an Android development environment just now.
